JOB SUMMARY:
 
The Group Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the promotional efforts, lines of communication, and day-of-game coordination for sold groups at the Dallas Mavericks.   This person will work closely with the Group Sales Department and Senior Group Sales Manager to ensure well-executed, turn-key events for Group Ticket customers of the Mavs, while maintaining clear lines of communication within the Mavs Ticket Sales & Service, Marketing, Game Presentation, or related departments.
 
JOB FUNCTION:
  • Create, update, and distribute promotional materials (Flyers, E-Vites, Posters, etc) using existing templates for sold groups based on pre-determined cadences.
  • Develop and implement clear promotional timelines/calendars and manage expectations for group leaders and internal Sales Reps to ensure well-executed events.
  • Create and recommend strategies to help increase projected sales revenues for Group Sales.
  • Execute delivery of Group Leader benefits.
  • Ensure payment and ticket delivery deadlines are being met.
  • Meet regularly and develop action plans for mega-groups (300+) with Sales Rep.
  • Assist with scheduling, planning, and executing Group Fan Experiences in conjunction with Sales Rep and Fan Experience Manager.
  • Assist with internal reporting during leadup to events with daily group ticket debriefs.
  • Create and manage Group Ticket links through third party partners (Fevo, Spinzo, etc)
  • Communicate additional needs with Mavs Marketing Department as required.
  • Act as a Group Tickets liaison to other Sales Departments.
  • Available to work all Dallas Mavericks home games.
  • All other duties as assigned.
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Must be well-organized
  • Must have excellent time-management skills
  • Must be driven and willing to recommend products/strategies in group setting
  • Experience in TicketMaster/ARCHTICS ticketing system
  • Must be able to self-motivate, multi-task, follow-through and prioritize well to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • 1-3 years experience in Sports Ticket Sales preferred
