Job Title: Contract IT Infrastructure Project Coordinator
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with occasional shifts working as early as 7am and ending as late as 7pm.
Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Contract IT Infrastructure Project Coordinator to assist in the planning and coordination of multiple small, medium, and large-sized technology infrastructure projects from initiation to implementation.
This is an 8-month contract position with the possibility of extension up to a year.
The coordinator will be responsible for managing resources and risk to ensure optimal progress is achieved and maintained. This role requires active participation in outstanding customer service and the ability to build and maintain equally respectful relationships. The Contract IT Infrastructure Project Coordinator will lead cross-functional teams and work closely with Technical Services Project Managers (TSPMs), Information Technology (IT) partners, vendors, and contractors to manage and monitor the coordination, installation, and commissioning of technology infrastructure requirements for construction projects, renovations, and department relocations across Central Florida.
Mileage will be reimbursed for travel between different facility locations. But not when traveling to and from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support TSPMs in the planning and delivery of IT projects, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
- Communicate project scope, approach, and high-level plans effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams to secure and maintain necessary resources throughout the project lifecycle.
- Direct and monitor on-site fieldwork, ensuring progress aligns with project plans.
- Identify, track, and manage key project milestones and the critical path.
- Provide regular and clear updates to TSPMs on project progress, including cost, schedule, forecast, and risk assessments.
- Log, track, and facilitate the resolution of project risks and issues, escalating as needed.
- Ensure proper utilization of change request procedures to maintain project scope, schedule, and budget control.
- Adhere to all project management guidelines and procedures.
- Cultivate and maintain strong business relationships essential for project success.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the TSPM team.
- Participate in project go-live events and post-mortem reviews to identify lessons learned.
- Manage project device inventory requests and forecasts.
- Travel to various client's facilities across Central Florida as required.
- Accurately track and submit mileage for reimbursement according to company policy.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, formal, informal).

- Proficiency with internet browsers and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Microsoft and Mac operating systems.
- Experience with device imaging processes and mobile devices.
- Understanding of project and time-tracking concepts.
- Advanced customer service and de-escalation skills.
- Ability to set up endpoint hardware and direct technicians for IT solution installations.
- Critical thinking and proactive approach.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to track critical project information (AHCA dates, go-live dates, deadlines, contacts, cabling costs, equipment lists, building reports, stakeholder involvement).
- Knowledge of IT security best practices and network architecture basics.
- Ability to partially manage projects with TSPM guidance.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency with Adobe Pro DC and MS Project.
- Knowledge of PMI or PMBOK project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with CAD design and tools (Autodesk AutoCAD or Blue Beam).
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project Online, Jira, ServiceNow).
- Experience working in a complex, matrixed healthcare environment.
Required Education and Experience:
- Associate degree or higher education or in lieu of education minimum 5 years of IT project management experience.
- 3+ years of IT project management experience if you have an Associate degree.
- 5+ years of desktop support experience.
- 3+ years of IT construction project experience.
- Experience in stakeholder identification, analysis, and management.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative setting.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Clean driving record
- 3 years of experience managing project resources.
- 3 years of experience leading projects with at least five team members.
- Experience managing projects with durations of 3 months or longer.
Required Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:
- CompTIA Project+ or higher Project Management Certification
- Plus two of the following : Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt+), ITIL v4 Foundation+, CompTIA CIOS, CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist, Cisco Certification (CCIE, CCST, CCNA, CCNP+), ISC2 CC, EPIC Endpoint Cert?, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CASP+, CySA+, Microsoft 365 Certified (Modern Desktop Admin Associate, Endpoint Admin Associate, Fundamentals), Microsoft Windows OS MTA, PMI Agile Hybrid Project Pro.
Preferred Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), or PMI Construction Professional (PMI-CP).
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Provides guidance and direction to project team members and resources.
- Receives direction from PMO Director, Project Executives, and Project Owners.
Compensation:
- Pay Range: $30 - $40 per hour
- Mileage will be reimbursed for travel between different facility locations.
- Possibility of being hired permanently at the end of the contract.
