Job Title: Project Coordinator
Reports to: Lead Project Manager
Department: Projects

Summary:

Responsible for advancing Messenger International’s vision by coordinating timelines, details, and resources to ensure consistent forward momentum with projects.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Manage logistics for small-scale ministry projects, ensuring tasks, timelines, and deliverables are executed on time

·       Track project progress and update timelines and dependencies within Asana

·       Coordinate cross-team deliverables and follow up on task completion

·       Generate and maintain project reports and dashboards in Asana

·       Send weekly or bi-weekly status updates to stakeholders and leadership

·       Monitor critical path items and proactively resolve bottlenecks

·       Support logistical execution for donor-facing initiatives (e.g., Messenger Cup, Legacy events, etc.)

·       Develop and execute detailed day-of logistics checklists for assigned projects or events

·       Schedule project meetings and prepare necessary agendas and materials.

·       Document and delegate meeting action items in Asana

·       Route documents, assets, or decisions to appropriate approvers and follow up on sign-offs

·       Confirm people, spaces, and materials are available to support project needs

·       Assist with onsite execution, including setup and breakdown for assigned events or initiatives

·       Collaborate with the Project Team Administrator to maintain clean systems and documentation

·       Other related work as assigned

 

Education and/or Experience: 

·       High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred

·       Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination, logistics, or a similar execution-based support role

·       Experience in a ministry, nonprofit, or operational team environment strongly preferred

 

General Qualifications:

·       Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines

·       Strong communicator—clear, timely, and confident across verbal, written, and digital channels

·       Proficient in Asana, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar), Excel, and Dropbox; quick to adapt to new tools

·       Self-motivated and proactive—takes initiative and follows through without needing close supervision

·       Works well under pressure and meets deadlines, especially during live event or launch-related activity

·       Able to translate strategic direction into clear checklists, action plans, and timelines

·       Flexible and adaptable—comfortable adjusting to shifting project scopes or priorities

·       Solutions-focused team player with a collaborative mindset and professional maturity

·       Committed to excellence, delivering high-quality work with consistency and care

·       Aligned with Messenger’s mission and values; eager to support kingdom-focused work with humility and diligence

·       This position also may require long periods of sitting, standing up, and walking

 

Work Location:
Colorado Springs, CO. Must be able to present evidence of identity and legal right to work in the United States.

 

Job Type/Schedule:

Full-time, 40-hour work week with the potential for occasional overtime. This is a non-exempt position and is subject to overtime pay in accordance to the Fair Labor Standards Act.

 

Pay:

This has a salary range of $24.00 - $28.00 / hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
