Introduction


Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Project Coordinator position. This position is a contract opportunity which is expected to be Hybrid in Glendale, CA (Mon-Thurs. onsite & Friday remote) for a duration of 15 Months with a possible extension.


The Project Coordinator will assist creative operations by facilitating approvals on submissions and assets for print and digital publications, supporting global licensees with publishing plan approvals and providing them with all of the necessary information about branding, art, and editorial they need to create products.
  • Support project managers with administrative tasks such as, but not limited to, filing, downloading & distributing assets, updating documents, pulling reports, creating tracking sheets, setting up meetings, taking meeting minutes, etc.
  • Support multiple project managers based in multiple regions (California, Milan, Tokyo) with routing submissions from global licensees to the Publishing creative team.
  • Use approval system software to route, collate feedback and return submissions.
  • Review all submissions before they are returned to licensees in order to ensure that
    Β comments from creative reviewers are clear, coherent, and that no questions are left unanswered.
  • Establish and maintain close working relationships with Disney Publishing creative reviewers to encourage the speedy review of materials, taking direction from respective project managers.
  • Work with external teams (Brand Management, Legal, etc.) to secure creative approvals for licensees.
  • Request and distribute various assets (e.g. logos, final frames, concept art, etc.), often using BOX, based on project needs to local offices and licensees.
  • Support multiple project managers with day-to-day admin tasks such as follow up email inquiries, system-related support, scheduling meetings, booking meeting rooms, taking meeting minutes.Β 
  • Report to Creative Operations Senior Project Manager for any concerns/issues that arise related to product development.


Details:

Required:
  • 2 - 3 years of experience
  • Ability to take direction, anticipate needs, work autonomously as well as collaboratively
  • General office skills such as scheduling, phones and typing
  • Ability to prioritize, focus, problem solve, and multi-task in a dynamic work environment
  • Computer literacy a must (Macintosh OS), including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; and Photoshop a plus

Preferred:
  • Publishing Experience
  • College degree or equivalent exp-related Entertainment field
