The Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and completion of projects across different departments. This role involves coordinating project activities, managing timelines, and ensuring effective communication among team members. Additionally, the Project Coordinator may be assigned to manage or support department-level projects independently. The role also includes supporting compliance and other Finance activities as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Plan and facilitate the PMO approval committee and track projects approved by the committee for the PMO project roadmap.
  • Work closely with functional areas to ensure their department roadmaps are integrated with the PMO project roadmap as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Track and report project performance by tracking assignments, budgets, and progress, as well as helping to identify, communicate, and resolve issues.
  • Create and maintain project management tools and templates.
  • Scope, plan, and manage department-level projects as assigned.
  • Plan and facilitate cross-department operational meetings.
  • Assist in completion of compliance tasks and audits.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, values, code of ethics, and compliance/security standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, project management fundamentals and methodologies.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio, and project management applications.
  • Familiarity with using AI to improve processes.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
