Successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within scope and budget, and to the required quality standards. Monitors and manages assigned product activities, including design, development, testing, integration, implementation, and sustainment. Conduct project planning, develop project plans and documentation, define, and manage project resources. Advise the Government Project Officer and Deputy Program Manager on day-to-day activities as well as key decision points. Manages overall health of project.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field or has equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of consulting and/or directly relevant industry experience
  • Knowledge of the PMBOK® process inputs, tools and techniques, outputs.
  • PMP certification preferred.

Typical Duties/Abilities

  • Manages and leads the product team
  • Ensures that the project is delivered on time, within scope and budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Manages the coordination of the stakeholders and the working groups associated with the product
  • Monitors and manages assigned product activities, including design, development, testing, integration, implementation, and sustainment
  • Manages, oversees, and provides input to the product specific portion of the Integrated Master Schedule
  • Monitors, oversees and ensures delivery of product specific deliverables
  • Provides product input to client weekly, biweekly, monthly and quarterly reports and briefings including but not limited to QUAD Charts, MPR, IPR, and PMM
  • Facilitates the product line Interim Progress Reports (IPR)
  • Supports cross work stream communication and integration across the BOPMSS team
  • Serves as the primary liaison to the Government Product Manager and provides direct support as requested
  • Oversee, supports, and trains project coordinators to achieve project objectives
  • Facilitate team sessions to identify, track, and assess impact of issues and risk, develops mitigation ideas for identified risk and works to resolve them
  • Communicates with team to delegate task and provide status of project activities and milestones
  • Monitors and manages contract specific requirements on behalf of the Government Product Manager
  • Manages overall health of product
  • Conduct project planning, develop project documentation, define and manage project resources, and provide project support.
  • Accountable for the overall success of the project as measured by meeting scope, schedule, and budget objectives.
  • Facilitate resolution of issues that a pertinent to the success of the project, ensuring that corrective actions are in place to prevent or address project non-conformances.
  • Monitor and evaluate contract deliverables for operational effectiveness, functionality, cost, efficiency, benefits, and contract compliance.

  • Ability to write and present effective project materials, presentations, status-reporting, etc.
