Within the Rhode Island Supreme Court’s Law Clerk Department, the Project Coordinator will provide comprehensive administrative support to the director of the department. Duties include but are not limited to: assisting with day-to-day supervision and support of 17 term law clerks; maintaining an Excel spreadsheet of individual law clerk assignments from judges and monitoring law clerks’ deadlines; helping assess law clerks’ availability for assignment of new work requests; overseeing law clerk time submission process and leave requests; coordinating among other Supreme Court departments regarding the annual onboarding and offboarding of law clerks and interns; general office support; general event support; and other administrative support as assigned by the director of the Law Clerk Department.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree. Must possess excellent writing, organizational, and computer skills with 3-5 years of prior work experience in administrative support, project management, or in a similar field, or any combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to the above. Previous experience working with judicial officers preferred.
