Position purpose
The Appraisal Coordinator performs a variety of administrative activities supporting appraisal orders. Responsible for facilitating the daily workflow of appraisal request and troubleshooting appraisal related issues. The Appraisal Coordinator acts as a liaison to AMC’s, branch partners, and facilitates internal and external communication efforts.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
· Review, update and maintain appraisal fee matrices to ensure pricing is accurate and competitive in all markets
· Assist branch partners with placing orders
· Assist with training branch partners on how to place orders
· Troubleshoot system errors and work with vendors to resolve
· Investigate billing issues
· Identify system and workflow improvements needed and work with applicable departments and vendors to implement
· Mediate any issues that arise involving AMC’s, appraisers, and branch partners
· Serve as a contact person for all questions related to appraisals. Maintain a positive working relationship with AMC staff and PRMI branch partners.
· Investigate compliance concerns
· Work with vendor and applicable PRMI departments to develop needed appraisal related reporting
· Analyze reports to identify areas that need attention and involve applicable stake holders to resolve
· Develop and maintain appraisal related procedures
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Highly motivated

· Ability to effectively and professionally handle difficult situations that may arise when working with internal and external customers

· Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
· Ability to work in multiple systems
Preferences
· Employs a firm understanding of appraisals and AIR Compliance
· Experience working in Encompass and or Mercury Network
· Mortgage compliance or operations experience

Work Requirements
Each employee must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, utilize a computer, maintain a work schedule, and effectively perform in an office setting. To maintain and ensure secure privacy of borrower (and other protected) information, an essential function of this job may require physical attendance in a defined office space. (i.e. branch or corporate office location). Employment with PRMI requires compliance with and adherence to all applicable mortgage and fair lending laws and regulations as well as PRMI policies. The ability to work extended hours may be required.
