Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Promote a culture of continuous improvement by providing an environment to critically think, create, solve and innovate that embraces change and opportunities.

· Manage the KI program leveraging SharePoint sites, PowerBI dashboards, and power automate workflows 

· Lead high priority, business-critical, cross-functional KIs from start-to-finish through the application of the QC Story, QC Tools, DMAIC workflow, and Lean/Six Sigma techniques & methodologies. Based on impact and urgency, deploy Kaizen Bursts / Rapid Kaizens to implement timely resolution.

· Be a champion for continuous improvement by consulting and mentoring team members through the education and execution of improvement tools & methodologies and promoting best practices throughout the organization.

· Facilitate workshops/working sessions including process mapping, root-cause analysis, value stream mapping, and value capture.

· Establish and lead the deployment of a role-based, company-wide KI training program; including new-hire orientation, continuous education for greater awareness, and progressively higher levels of expertise. This includes the creation of essential KI training materials based on organizational needs.

· Define, monitor, and control annual KI performance goals and indicators

· Provide detailed communications to leadership and staff regarding KI performance (including quality assessments of each executed KI Activity), and incentives/recognition campaigns.


Provide project management support/coordination to ensure project performance with all team members, monitoring project progress, and maintaining communication with stakeholders. 

· Project Planning and Support: Assist in the creation and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets. Support project manager(s) in the planning and execution of projects.

· Coordination: Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information. Liaise with project team members and stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.

· Documentation: Prepare and distribute project documentation, such as status reports, timelines, risks logs, and action items. Maintain project files and records for easy retrieval and reference.

· Communication: Ensure effective communication among project team members and stakeholders. Schedule and organize meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up on action items.

· Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress and performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques. Report and escalate any issues or concerns to project manager(s) as needed.


General Responsibilities

· Uphold the principles and practices of the GQM business management system, including QC Thinking, Kaizen Innovation, and the corporate philosophy of GC no Kokoro

· Participate in regulatory compliance activities related to the job function, including quality audits, adverse event reporting for company products, and adherence to Good Documentation Practices for reporting and record-keeping

· Support other Departmental Areas of Responsibilities as needed


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· 1-2 years’ experience in a corporate environment providing continuous improvement/project coordination

· Demonstrated competency and understanding in the use of QC tools & techniques (Control Charts, Histograms, Pareto diagrams, Cause & Effect diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, Check sheets, Scatter Diagrams, etc.)

· Strong problem-solving mindset, driven by creativity, critical, and innovative thinking

· Excellent communication skills (verbal, report writing, presentations) with critical attention to detail and accuracy

· Demonstrated sense of ownership, self-motivation, accountability, and innovation

· AA/AS degree in Business Administration, Economics, Project Management or comparable academic acumen with a focus on general business practices 

· Sufficient understanding of standard business practices/procedures 

· Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related software systems

· Familiarity with advanced Microsoft tools, such as SharePoint, PowerBI, and Power Automate.
