Basic Purpose and Function of the Project Coordinator:
Ensures assigned work is completed on time and within established budgets. Resolves all issues that arise, as well as working with the customer, subcontractors, and other departments to keep a minimum of interferences from impacting the progression of work. Ensures prime and subcontractors are aware of milestones, key events, and target dates for assigned work. An Associateβs degree in any technical skill associated with ship repair, and four to six (4 to 6) years of progressively more complex work experience demonstrating the required ship repair and production management skills; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
