Metro Engineering Solutions, LLC ('MES') is looking for a project coordinator to join our team! MES is a multifaceted utility and telecommunications engineering firm serving clients throughout the Midwest. The project coordinator is responsible for assisting with the technical and financial aspects of projects by serving as the liaison between Project Managers and our clients.


 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain project schedules, documents, and task trackers
     
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes
     
  • Monitor and update project dashboards using Power BI and Excel
     
  • Submit and track RFIs, permits, and internal deliverables
     
  • Support invoicing, budget tracking, and procurement processes
     
  • Assist with compliance documentation and QA/QC tracking
     
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and field staff


Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
     
  • 1–3 years of experience in a project coordination or administrative role
     
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
     
  • Experience with SharePoint, Power BI, or project management tools is a plus
     
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
     
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
