As Project Coordinator this position coordinates and promotes the efficient, effective technical operations of departmental and/or enterprise projects. The Project Coordinator works with leadership to ensure project objectives are achieved through effective definition, planning, implementation and transition of work. Participates in project teams when assembled, coordinates project plans and performs project tasks as assigned.
This position requires two years' project coordination experience. - Demonstrated excellent facilitation, communication and organizational skills also required. - The incumbent must be a self-starter with attention to detail, flexibility and the ability to adhere to project specifications and timelines. - The position requires working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. - Experience with MS Project is preferred; willingness to learn MS Project or another Virginia Mason-designated project software is required. - An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred. Formal training in project management concepts and methods.
