Children's Wisconsin is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Strategic Planning team! This is an ideal role for someone with project management experience or a new grad MHA eager to establish themselves in a health are system.

Work Schedule: Full-Time 8am-5pm

Location: Hybrid

What you will do:

Under the direction of Department Leadership, a Strategic Planning Project Coordinator functions as the main department contact for strategic growth initiatives and business planning support. They operate as the lead for coordinating comprehensive project tracking systems and ensuring seamless execution of strategic initiatives through structured coordination, communication, and accountability tracking.

Key Functions:

Strategic Growth Plan Coordination: Establish and maintain comprehensive project tracking systems while ensuring timely communication with all key constituents. Organize and prepare for meetings in advance with required materials, monitor project milestones and timeline adherence including communication cascade, and identify and resolve bottlenecks by engaging accountable parties.

Business Planning Council Support: Maintain master list of all strategic initiatives and their status, track decision history and implementation progress, and document accountability assignments and deadline commitments. Schedule and coordinate project lookbacks to capture learnings and prepare council meeting materials with follow-up documentation.

Administrative Leadership: Handle critical administrative follow-up tasks that enable senior team members, strategy and finance leaders, and strategic planning operational owners to focus on strategic thinking versus administrative coordination. Act as a liaison coordinating activities, tracking progress, communicating updates, and ensuring appropriate use of time for all strategic planning deliverables and operational constituents.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree and three years of experience.

  • Project management experience in a healthcare setting or new grad MHA student preferred.

  • Exhibits guiding behaviors that reflect Children's values and support our mission and vision.

  • Knowledge of technical, business, consultation, project management, and cultural awareness.

  • Customer focus, building trust, communication, critical thinking, and influencing skills.
