AMS Workplace Technology is seeking a software project coordinator to help manage the day-to-day operations for our software implementation projects. The Project Coordinator will report to the Project Manager to learn typical project management methodologies and drive projects forward.

Note: This is a junior level role and we are looking for a candidate who can reasonably commute to the office in Fairfield, NJ at least twice per week. 

Responsibilities:

- Track project scope, schedule, and budget from initiation to closeout.

- Identify and track action items, deliverables, and key milestones for projects.

- Contact clients to procure purchase orders.

- Attend/shadow client status meeting with PM and take notes.

- Attend internal team meetings, follow up with internal teams on pending action items, potential roadblocks, track project deadlines, and escalate tickets and other issues to AMS leadership as needed.

- Create and maintain client Confluence Spaces.

- Create and maintain Jira project boards.

- Work collaboratively with PM team on AMS initiatives.

- Assist in documenting, implementing, and enforcing AMS standard project management processes and procedures.

- Lead weekly internal resource and planning meetings and maintain AMS Resource Sheet.   

Skills:

- Experience with Confluence and Jira

- Understanding of SDLC and software development methodologies (Waterfall and Agile)

- MS Office Suite (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word)

- Effective and proactive communication skills (both verbal and written)

- Ability to multitask and pivot in a dynamic environment

- Extremely organized and detail oriented

- Highly collaborative team player

- Self-motivated and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities

Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree Preferred

- 1+ years Project Management Experience Preferred but not Required (OJT on Company processes and procedures will be provided for qualified candidates)

- Experience in an office environment  

- Familiarity with software development projects

Position Details:

- Full-time: 40 hours/week
